Our favorite thread Our favorite thread to use with emBead products is Nymo, size 0 or 00. It is a very strong thread and very easily sews into our products.
NEVER wax your Nymo thread NEVER wax your Nymo thread, it can pull fibers of the cotton core through the fabric.
When sewing beads onto emBead cording When sewing beads onto emBead cording, be sure to anchor your thread deeply into the cording, about 1/4 to 1/3 of the way into the cording is good. See figure at right.
For invisible and secure stitches For invisible and secure stitches, make sure that your stitch length is the same length as your beads (see figures at right). When starting a new thread always anchor it well with a few safety knots (see figure at right). You can hide the new knot under beads that are already on your cording.
